About Me
My name is Cecelia Shuler, and I am a 24 year old massage therapist from Port Huron, Michigan!
I graduated as a therapist from Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage in 2017. In spring of 2019, I finished my degree at St. Clair County Community College on a full scholarship from the Community Foundation and majored in Therapeutic Massage.
In June 2020, I will be competing at the International Massage Association’s WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! I get to represent the USA and compete for a bronze, silver, or gold metal in massage! I have also been invited to attend and compete at the European Massage championship in France in April 2020 and represent the USA in this competition as well!
So, with all that being said, this is why I am reaching out- we do not have competitions for massage in the states yet. It is only the worlds 4th official championship this year. Many other countries have jumped on board with hosting massage competitions, but nothing yet in the states. I am working hard to become the FIRST U.S therapist to host a competition that will attract people from all over the world! I cannot do this alone, and need all the help I can get.
I have been eagerly training and learning as much as possible to prepare me for the competitions.
As far as I know, I am the only competitor from the state of Michigan going to worlds, and need all of the help I can get. Raising funds to travel and compete is really the biggest way to make this all happen.
I have a raffle going from now until June 1st to raise funds to travel to the competitions. It’s $5 for 5 tickets or $10 for 15 tickets, and the winner wins a year of free massages!
(An $850 value = 12 massages).
Please help me in bringing awareness to what I’m doing to make a name for Michigan, Massage Therapy, and the community of Port Huron!
